Hi there!
I'm Nicole. As a mentor and educational therapist, I love to create supportive environments for kids and teens to thrive and be seen for who they are, just as they are. I grew up (and still live) in the San Francisco Bay Area and often felt stressed out and disconnected during my preteen and teen years. Once I graduated from college, I discovered a whole world of resources to help with stress and disconnection that I didn't learn about in school: women's circles, yoga classes and my favorite..... retreats! Through retreats and other trainings, I've studied leadership, vocal empowerment, movement, mindfulness and much more. I became a Qoya Movement teacher as well as a certified kids' yoga teacher. As I took all of these trainings, I kept thinking to myself, "How can girls get these resources and experiences earlier in life?" Girls Shine Bright is my creative solution to just that! I hope your daughter join us at a connection circle! - Nicole |
